On Tuesday, October 20th worldwide shuckers convene at the Sea Crest Beach Hotel for the 6th International Oyster Symposium. You can delve into the briny depths with three days of panel discussions and presentations around coastal protection and repopulation of oysters, plus a farm tour and, of course, tasting. On Thursday, October 22nd master chefs will set up raw bars and cooked bivalve dishes at the Oyster Grand Tasting. From 6:30-8:30pm, Boston’s own Jeremy Sewall will join Sandy Ingber of NYC, Lucio Garnica of Provincetown, Shoko Izumi of Tokyo, John Finger of California and more to celebrate the culinary sea creature.
