Industry Night at Toro is one of the longest running in the business, and on Thursday, June 7th, it’s getting an upgrade. The crew has been spicing up the first Thursday of every month with tasty tapas and delicious drinks (including plenty of Fernet) since way back when pork belly was a novelty, and they’ve decided to extend the fun into dinner service. So instead of starting after the kids are in bed, the fun begins at 5:30pm and runs all through dinner service. The Island Creek Oyster team will be shucking bivalves and serving their new caviar, and the kitchen will be running an oyster special all night. For drinks, it’s all about the G&T, with gin and tonic specials from local distillers Grand Ten, Short Path, and Bully Boy. No tickets required — just show up for these a la carte treats at the bar and in the restaurant.
