You can satisfy your hankering for fancy franks at Lincoln Tavern & Restaurant‘s summer-long wienerfest. Every week, chef Nick Dixon cooks up (figuratively and literally) a crazy delicious combination of dog, bun and elaborate accoutrements for Wiener Wednesdays. He kicked off the 2021 series with the Thai Hot Dog – a beef frank with Thai basil, pickled Thai bird chilies, Kaffir lime aioli, and crispy shallots but his inspiration comes from every corner of the globe — last year there was the Street Corn Dog topped with street corn off the cob, bacon, cotija, pico de gallo and the Japanese-Style Wagyu Beef Chili Dog adorned with ginger-miso slaw, tonkatsu sauce and yuzu aioli. They’ll announce the wiener of the week on their Instagram page day-of, so keep an eye out!
