Help yourself over the hump every week with Lincoln Tavern & Restaurant‘s Hot Dog Days of Summer (aka Wiener Wednesday). Every Wednesday this summer, chef Nick Dixon will concoct a special daily dog, available at lunch and dinner (but only for one day) for just $5. There’s no limit, if previous dogs are any indication, to what Dixon and company will put on a toasted, buttered bun. Some of their recent fanciful creations have included a Wagyu Chili Cheese Dog with cheddar cheese sauce and crispy fried potato sticks on a griddled brioche roll, and the Bacon Mac and Cheese Dog featuring a broiled Waygu beef hot dog, on a toasted brioche roll topped with bacon mac and cheese.
