Hot Air Competition at The Fireplace

To ease election tension, The Fireplace in Brookline invites guests to join them for the city’s first Political Hot Air Contest on Sunday, October 10th. The evening’s moderator will throw out question after question on hot-button issues, from affordable housing to the war in Iraq. Contestants will then have the opportunity to expound for 60 seconds in the most humorous or outrageous way possible. So take your chance to grab a microphone, step up onto the soapbox and wax political. A panel of celebrity judges from Boston’s local media, sports figures and commentators will award appropriate prizes to the winner. For more information, call 617.975.1900.
