Hop Chef Heading for Boston

Brewery Ommegang and Saveur Magazine bring Hop Chef, their collaborative culinary competition, to the Cyclorama on Wednesday, June 26th. Sign on to see local cookers Joshua Smith (Franklin Café), Brian Young (Citizen), Andy Husbands (Tremont 647), Michael Lombardi (The Salty Pig) and Josh Harrison (Publick House) plating their versions of the perfect beer and food pairing. Whoever impresses the guests and the panel of judges will go on to face the champions from three other regional competitions at Ommegang’s annual Belgium Comes to Cooperstown festival later this summer. See what they cook up and how it goes with Ommegang’s ales. Tickets for the event, which runs from 7:00-10:00pm, cost $60 each and are available online.
