Worlds collide (peacefully) on Sunday, October 8th as the Harvard Square Business Association hosts the 39th Annual Oktoberfest and HONK! Parade. It’s a double-billing of revelry in Harvard Square from 12:00-6:00pm as the family-friendly tradition continues. There will be 27 HONK! bands from all over the world, live theatre, educational events, street vendors, sidewalk sales and six beer gardens provided by neighborhood restaurants including Alden & Harlow, Beat Brasserie, The Hourly Oyster House and The Sinclair. While you’re in Harvard Square, check out Parsnip’s Oktoberfest with Black Hog Brewing Co. and Artifact Cider Project. The celebration starts at noon featuring traditional porchetta sandwiches and house-made chicken & rabbit sausages. Executive Chef James Salomone‘s new brunch menu will also be available.
