Mark your calendars – or just go ahead and get your tickets – for the 6th annual Home Sweet Home benefit coming up on Saturday, September 28th. The fall fundraiser for Community Call, a non-profit that teaches social entrepreneurship to at-risk high school students in the greater Boston area, features sweets from near and far competing for Best in Show. Attendees and a panel of expert judges will sample and vote for their favorite from among offerings supplied by Area Four, Amelia’s Trattoria, Bambara, Bergamot, Cinquecento, The Fireplace, Harvest, Henrietta’s Table, Temple Bar, Union and Zephyr’s on the Charles, among plenty of others. There’ll be music courtesy of the Love Dogs and VJ Rick Hodgkins, and wine tasting with tips from Sommelier Augusto Gabriel, as well as magic by mentalist Chris Bolter and an art exhibit showcased by Future Boston Alliance artists.
