If you fancy yourself a particularly good speller, head over to Highland Kitchen on Tuesdays for their weekly Spelling Bee series. Beginning on Tuesday, March 3rd, Victor and Nicole from Ego Art, Inc. will host this elementary school homage of an evening. Things are a little different than you remember – the evening gets underway at 9:30pm (which was probably past your bedtime), there are cocktails to be had, and you get three strikes before you’re officially out. The best speller left standing will be rewarded with bragging rights and a prize (something better than your basic gold star). Even if you don’t win you can console yourself with a little treat from chef-owner Mark Romano‘s winter menu.
