Harvest Review Returns to Harvard Square

Reviving a long-standing tradition, chef Mary Dumont hosts her first Harvest Review at the recently refurbished Harvest restaurant in Harvard Square. The monthly tasting series calls upon local experts – growers, purveyors, harvesters and the like – who are invited to come speak about the evening’s highlighted ingredient, whatever it may be. This month, on Wednesday, June 25th, Steve Verrill of Verrill Farm in Concord will be on hand to talk about his assorted contributions to the evening’s four-course farm-fresh menu created by Dumont and pastry chef Jed Hackney. Look for garden lettuces and radishes as well as the season’s superstar – strawberries, which make an appearance towards the end of the meal.
