Pumpkins & Pints

Glass House Website

Fall is in the air, which means Oktoberfest celebrations are in full swing, and Glass House is hosting their own tribute to the festival on Saturday, October 13th. Head on over to Kendall Square between 3:00 and 7:00pm for a family-friendly festive day of fun that’ll include beer & cider tastings, lawn games, live music and German-inspired cuisine. Tickets for those 21+ are $20 (kiddos 10 & under are free!), and include four beer samples, the chance to participate in a stein hoisting competition and access to the custom pretzel station with a ton of delicious dips like sweet horseradish mustard, warm Sriracha beer cheese, hot Chinese style mustard, cider-bourbon apple jam and nutella.

The beverage line-up is filled with options from both local and internal breweries & cider houses, and you’ll find pints of Rising Tide Waypoint Coffee Porter, Angry Orchard Cider Rosé and Shipyard Smashed Pumpkin offered (among others). Food specials are going to be available for purchase including flammkuchen (traditional German flatbread with pancetta lardons, fresh cheese and roasted onion), roasted pumpkin soup with coconut crème fraîche with spiced pepitas and pork schnitzel bites with spiced apple jam, but Glass House’s regular menu will also be served as well. Plan to stay past sundown to get cozy around the fire pits on the patio. See more details and grab your tickets here.
