On Thursday, June 15th chef Kevin Long welcomes winemaker Gianni Masciarelli to Tosca for a five-course wine dinner paired with his award-winning wines from Italy’s Abruzzo region. Long gets the evening’s gastronomic festivities started at 6:30pm with a reception of seasonal appetizers and “bites.” The menu that follows features sweet corn with warm local lobster and garden lemon balm essence; fine handout noodle with spicy lamb rage; and Vermont farm-raised roasted and crispy veal. A cheese course and pastry chef Maria Cavaleri-Gilardo’s Tyrone and Cioccolatini wrap up things up. The dinner costs $95 per person.
