There’s no need to drive all the way down Route 66 when Hoedown V, the annual fundraiser from Lovelane Special Needs Horseback Riding Program is right nearby in Dedham. On Saturday, September 29th from 4:00 to 9:30pm, guests, decked out in their finest blue jeans and boots, can sample amazing dishes from chefs from spots like Pigalle, Park, Davio’s, Sweet Basil, Deuxave, Henrietta’s Table, Sweet, Tremont 647, Baker’s Best Catering, Blue Ribbon Bar-B-Q, Catalyst, Island Creek Oyster Bar, Oddfellows Ice Cream Co., Boarding House, The Pearl, Corazon del Mar, Back Deck and The Met Club  while listening to music from the Tedeschi Trucks and James Montgomery bands. Tickets, available online, are $500 apiece – though there are a bunch of other packages available should you be feeling particularly generous. All proceeds go to support Lovelane’s mission to provide therapeutic horseback riding for children with special needs.
