Hang on to your hats, your big floppy hats, because now’s your chance to get all gussied up for the Derby. The Smoke Shop BBQ is bringing in Wild Turkey to help you have the full Kentucky Derby right in Kendall Square. On Saturday, May 5th, from 4:00 to 7:00pm, bask in the sun on their large patio (weather-permitting) with a Wild Turkey Julep in hand, and enjoy their special appetizer menu including BBQ Bourbon Shrimp and aptly named Derby Pies. They’ll even be handing out prizes for Best Bonnet and Best Gussied Up Couple, so dig out your Churchill Downs-appropriate attire.
