Brush up on your Germanic syllables and get out your lederhosen for this week’s wine dinner at Forage on Tuesday, May 16th which takes you to Deutschland (aka Germany). Stan Hilbert, Forage’s wine guru, knows that there’s much more to German wines than Riesling, and he’s got a whole host of bottles to try this week that are sure to defy your expectations. Chef Eric Cooper will have four courses of German-inspired fare to nibble on as you taste your way through some of the country’s major wine regions, including pairings like Jägerkohl — Pork Shoulder with Bacon, Kielbasa, Cabbage, Potatoes and Fiddleheads paired with 2022 Lemberger, Müller-Ruprecht, Kallstadt.
