A Gastronomic Game of Duck, Duck, Goose

In loving tribute to the traditional holiday goose, chef Jay Silva hosts Duck, Duck, Goose at Bambara on Wednesday, December 1st. Enlisting the help of some fine feathered friends and fellow chefs, the event features modern interpretations of classic holiday fare from six local chefs and one not-so-local chef. Co-founder and chef of Hudson Valley Foie Gras, Michael Ginor, will be plating his dishes alongside familiar faces like Andy Husbands of Tremont 647, Dante de Magistris of dante, Josh Buehler of KO Prime, Marc Orfaly of Pigalle and Will Gilson of Garden at the Cellar, among others. From 5:30-9:00pm, guests can make the rounds sampling each chef’s offerings and sipping on signature cocktails – they won’t have to tap anyone on the head, though, and there will be no chasing each other around in circles. A portion of the proceeds from each $40 ticket (which covers food and two complimentary drinks) will be donated to Lovin’ Spoonfuls, a food rescue organization that aims to collect and redistribute perishable and unserved food that might otherwise get tossed. To pick up tickets, call 617.395.2570 and ask for Ken Luke or drop him an email at Kenneth.Luke@HotelMarlowe.com.
