Foxwoods Food & Wine Festival

More than fifty chefs from across the country will be spending the weekend at Foxwoods Casino Resort for the second annual Foxwoods Food & Wine Festival. From Friday, September 14th through Sunday, September 16th, rub elbows with the likes of Food Network stars Lidia Bastianich and Giada de Laurentiis as well as Boston-based culinary talent including Blue Ginger’s Ming Tsai, Michael Schlow the man behind the menus at Radius, Via Matta, Great Bay and Alta Strada, Jody Adams of Rialto, Coriander Bistro’s Kevin Crawley, Marc Orfaly of Marco and Pigalle, Andy Husbands of Tremont 647 and Jay Murray of Grill 23 & Bar. The all-star team of chefs will be hosting a weekend’s worth of tastings, book signings, seminars and cooking demos. A portion of the weekend’s proceeds will provide scholarship dollars to students studying in the College of Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University.
