Cheese is always better with a little age, and nobody knows that better than Formaggio Kitchen, which has been cutting and mongering Cambridge’s finest cheeses for 40 years. To celebrate four decades of frommagery, they’re throwing a party with all of their favorite things and inviting all of their favorite people (that’s you!). On Sunday, September 23rd, strap on your party hats from 1:00 to 4:00pm; there will be small bites from Formaggio’s friends and neighbors at Alden & Harlow, Coppa, Island Creek, Loyal Nine and Oleana samples from local producers and purveyors, live music, kids’ stuff, and a raffle. Thirsty patrons can enjoy the beer garden, complete with Mise wines, local cider, and beer from Trillium Brewing. Entry is free, but grab your raffle tickets in advance to guarantee early-bird pricing on all the available food and drink.
