The folks at Forage are teaming up with Mad River Distillers – a Vermont spirits company committed to local producers and sustainable agriculture – to throw a spring-inspired cocktail party on Tuesday, May 2nd. Bar manager Joe Choiniere is stirring up specialty cocktails, offered at $12 apiece, with Mad River’s bourbon, rye, maple cask rum and malvados. Chef Eric Cooper is preparing a small snack menu, available for $25 per couple, which features treats like cured duck breast, smoked garlic bean dip, seafood terrine and more (see below). The regular dinner menu will be served alongside the cocktails and snacks from 5:30-10:30pm. Reservations are recommended so call 617.576.5444 to go mad.
