Forage Fizz Fest


Pop quiz: How many different major styles of sparkling wine do they make in Italy? Answer: at least five – Prosecco, Lambrusco, Franciacorta, Metodo Classico and Asti Spumante. Get started on getting to know them all – just grab a reservation for Fizz Fest at Forage on Sunday, October 16th.

Chef Eric Cooper and company will be serving an all-Italian special menu of à la carte small bites from 4:00 to 6:00pm to show off an array of natural bubblies from “the boot.” Wine guru Stan Hilbert and manager Teague Mitchell will be on hand pouring sips like 2021 Furlani Macerato, Trentino and 2015 Volta Lambrusco, Emilia-Romagna as you snack on bites like local burrata with toast and spicy hickory syrup; and marinated squid salad with sweet peppers, squash and cucumbers. The full menu is below for your perusal; be advised that the regular dinner menu will not be available that evening.
