Food for Thought Festival

MIT Museum Website

On Tuesday, July 18th, the MIT Museum is teaming up with their favorite neighborhood restaurants and a slew of brewing partners for Food For Thought, a festival full of food, beverages, music and interactive exhibits. During the early part of the evening, guests can geek out over a progressive meal at spots like Central Bottle, FlourCraigie on Main, PAGU, Saloniki and Naco Taco. Chefs and owners of each of the venues will expound on various topics like the Evolution of Coffee Brewing and Creating Artificial Intelligence for Flavor Discovery (with PAGU’s Tracy Chang). There are three different tracks but all roads lead to the Beer Bash, where participants will get 12 tasting tickets for sampling various beers and ciders, along with late-night museum entry. Last call for beer is before 10:30pm but party-goers can roam around the exhibits up until 11:00pm. Tickets are $45 each for both portions of the evening, or just $20 for the Beer Bash and museum entry. The event is 21+ and food tasting ticket sales end Sunday, July 16th, at 5:00pm, so register for the science-y fun here or call the MIT Museum at 617.253.5927 with questions.
