Farm & Tap Dinner

Maine is known for having great lobster but Chef Joshua Bottini of Franklin Southie is helping to add lamb and beer to the state’s culinary legacy. On October 8th, Bottini is hosting a six course celebration of these ingredients that he is calling The Farm & Tap Dinner.

This collaboration with North Star Sheep Farm and Allagash Brewery is Bottini’s way of showcasing the fantastic farmers and artisans that produce great food and drink in our own backyard. “Our main goal is to make this event just as much about the farm and brewery as the food,” he says. Before each course, North Star Sheep Farm and Allagash will educate guests on the background of the products and how they work together. The evening’s menu is filled with the modern American and modern Italian dishes that Chef Bottini is known for including lamb tenderloin with charred baby bok choy, cippolini onion, lamb marrow port demi and lamb belly raviolo with wild greens, sweet corn and a quail egg. Dinner starts at 6:30pm and is preceded by a cocktail reception at 5:30pm. A steal at $75 per person, this event is bound to sell out so grab a ticket online now.
