The chefs of the Langham Hotel put their heads together for the Far Niente Wine Dinner at Julien, scheduled for Monday, September 13th. Chef Mark Sapienza and Daniel Kenney will execute a four-course menu featuring dishes like seared black bass with leek fondue and Pleasant Bay oyster cream; braised Niman Ranch pork cheeks with sage, butternut squash and truffle risotto; roasted sirloin of Angus beef with sweet onion black currant jam and vanilla scented potatoes puree; and orange poached Anjou pear with crisp tuille and apricot clove coulis. Each course will be paired with wines from Far Niente’s Napa Valley Vineyards, which have had more than twenty years of success producing luxury estate wines.
