The Regatta of Cotuit explores wines from the Loire Valley at their Seventh Annual Fall Wine & Food Dinner on Friday, November 18th. Guests, seated at communal tables in the Regatta’s cozy, candlelit dining rooms, will enjoy five courses from chef Heather Allen paired with exceptional wines chosen by wine experts Wendy Bryan, Matt Conley, Gary Gahl and John Miller. Courses include seared Hudson Valley foie gras with French country ham, fire-roasted blackberries and herbed crepe; roasted medallion of monkfish with butter-bathed Nantucket bay scallops, chervil pan sauce, parsnip lace and fresh fava beans; and pear and explorateur strudel with toasted black walnut brittle and port lavender reduction.
