Come and explore Umbria — the green heart of Italy — with your friends at Forage for this week’s weekly wine dinner. Chef Eric Cooper and wine guru Stan Hilbert have a culinary journey planned for you through the historic towns, olive groves and vineyards of this famed region of Italy that borders on Tuscany — all right from the comfort of their Cambridge dining room and patio. Join the team on Tuesday, July 19th between 5:30 and 8:30pm for a four-course Italian feast matched up with wines from small, independent producers, including pairings like Mushroom Stuffed Pepper with grated Verano cheese paired with 2020 Trebbiano/Grechetto “Biancofongoli”, Fongoli; and Braised Short Rib with polenta, wild spice butter and herb salad paired with 2017 “Pottarello,” La Segretta. Dinner is $95 per person to dine in (reserve here) or $160 to take out (order here), which includes all your food and wine before tax and tip. Omnivore and vegetarian menus are both available; full menus are below. If you can’t make it this week, subscribe to their email newsletter for updates on future dinners and events, or keep your eye on their Instagram.
