Itching for a trip to Tuscany but life has other plans? Take a little tasting tour of the Boot by way of Somerville instead at Foundry on Elm this month as they have a handful of Italian delights on deck for their weekly Wine Wednesday series.

Each Wednesday night in February you can try a different wine from around Italy right in Davis Square. Including Cantina Puiatti Ribolla Gialla 2020, Demarie “Luigi” Arneis Pet Nat, Rabasco “Cancelli” Montepulciano 2020 and G.D. Vajra “Albe” Barolo 2018. Keep an eye on their Instagram for the wine of the week, which they’ll be serving by the half-pour (which works out to a small carafe of about 2-ish glasses) — the perfect portion for tasting without committing to the whole bottle, plus the perfect pairing for a plate of chef Shayne Nunes’ brassiere-meets-tavern fare.
