Beaujolais Dinner at Alcove

Château du Moulin-à-Vent

Forget everything you think you know about Beaujolais (as in Nouveau) — serious Beaujolais is finally having a moment, and Alcove is hosting a night of wines that you won’t want to miss. Chef Charles Draghi is putting the finishing touches on a fabulous four-course prix-fixe menu to show off the lighter red Cru Beaujolais wines of Château du Moulin-à-Vent, located in the southernmost tip of the Burgundy region. Named one of the 100 best estates in the world by Wine & Spirits, Château du Moulin-à-Vent has been producing wine grapes for three centuries. Tickets are available online here for $140 each. Grab yours and head to the West End for dinner at 6:00pm on Thursday, September 29th. Patio season may be over but you can still peep some amazing views of the water at Lovejoy Wharf from Alcove’s lovely dining room while winemaker Edouard Parinet talks you through each pairing. Call 617.248.0050 or DM them on Insta with any Q’s, and check out the Chateau here for photos of the imminent 2022 grape harvest.
