James Beard award winning chefs Ken Oringer (of Coppa, Toro, Little Donkey, Uni and forthcoming Faccia a Faccia) and Ming Tsai (of Blue Ginger and Blue Dragon) are lending their culinary talents to the Ukrainian support efforts in the best way they know how – by cooking, of course. On Sunday, April 10th, the pair is hosting an epic benefit dinner at UNI with co-hosts documentary filmmaker David Fialkow and independent producer Nina Fialkow as well as former US Secretary of Defense Ash Carter, who’ll be able to provide some insights about the crisis.

To get a seat at this table, guests are asked to make a minimum donation of $5,000 per person to World Central Kitchen (WCK), chef José Andrés’ disaster relief non-profit organization, that’s first on the frontlines, providing meals in response to climate, humanitarian and community crises. WCK is now serving meals around the clock at eight border crossings in Poland, supporting local restaurants preparing meals in a dozen Ukrainian cities and serving thousands of meals every day in Romania, Moldova, and Hungary.

If you want in, make your donation asap (like, today, ideally) so the funds can be put to immediate use by Andrés & Co. then just forward the receipt for your tax-deductible donation to General Catalyst Executive Personal Assistant, Kerry O’Connor here. Call 617.234.7000 with any Qs.
