Build-Your-Own Noodle Bowl

Noodle bowls are the midst of a renaissance — they’re no longer the cheaper-than-dirt dorm food you downed back in college — and the folks from Edible Boston want to give you some pro tips on creating your very own epic brothy creation right at home (they really know their stuff — just take a peek at Ben Rigby’s deep dive in dashi, tare and more). They’re partnering with Brothers Marketplace to share their wisdom in all its doughy glory through two DIY noodle workshops.

Join them at the Waltham location (1 Moody Street) on Thursday, January 24th for hearty samples and to learn how to incorporate fresh produce and simple pantry ingredients into your noodles for an easy weeknight meal. Can’t make it on the 24th, but still want your slurpy fix? Head over to the Medfield spot (446 Main Street) on Tuesday, January 29th, where you can customize a bowl to order with tons of toppings for dining in or takeaway. Will you choose roast pork or chicken, roasted mushrooms or extra bok choy, spicy or mild? Your imagination isn’t the limit; it’s how much you can fit in your belly!

You’ll walk away from both drop-in workshops with a recipe card (plus your newly acquired know-how) so that you can put your learnings into action the next time your need for noodles pops ups.
