Spirits specialist Dave Broom turns to the rum barrel for his latest book, Rum: The Manual, and on Thursday, April 20th, he’ll be at Drink for a tasting and class. From 5:30-8:00pm, the liquor writer will be guiding guests through the rum world – from history to production to cocktail preparation. (His latest tome covers over 100 specific rums with info and tasting notes on the complex beverage.) Tickets for the Fort Point party are $160 each — including libation education, sips, a signed copy of the book, tax and gratuity — available online here.
