If you’ve always secretly (or not-so-secretly, even) wanted to grab a beer with Peter Sagal, the folks at Stoddard’s are about to make that happen for you. The Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me! host will be in town to run the Boston Marathon and stopping at Stoddard’s for a pre-race pint on Saturday, April 18th. Drop by the Downtown Crossing pub between 1:00 and 5:00pm for snacks, beers from Notch Brewing and the chance to bond with the NPR icon. Sagal will be running the marathon (for the third time) as a member of the Team With A Vision and (for the second time) as a sighted guide for Visually Impaired Division athlete Erich Manser. Proceeds from each $125 ticket will support the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired’s effort to promote more participation from visually impaired runners and show that with the right support, people who are visually impaired can do anything.
