Before the Pats take on the Falcons, local chefs are squaring off with chicken wings. From 12:00 to 3:00pm on Sunday, February 5th, the cookers will descend on Dorchester Brewing Company for an afternoon of friendly (and tasty) competition. The restaurant contenders – Ashmont Grill, Steel & Rye, BRED Gourmet, Lower Mills Tavern, Molinari’s Pizzeria and Fuji at WoC – will be matched in various categories and guests will get a chance to sample the offerings and place their vote. The wing throwdown is free to attend but donations will be accepted—the winner of the “best all around” wings will choose a local charity to support with the funds.
