Diversity In Hospitality Discussion & Brunch

Don’t miss out on the brunching event of the season, scheduled for Sunday, February 28th. MIDA chef-owner Douglass Williams, Urban Grape co-owner TJ Douglas and Segun Idowu, Executive Director of the Black Economic Council of MA (BECMA) are teaming up to bring you a virtual fundraising brunch and Italian wine tasting.

From 1:00-2:00pm, these inspiring individuals will be taking to Zoom to talk about the importance of Black leadership in Boston, their culinary passions, hospitality and the need for diversity within the community. While you watch and listen, you can also be brunching on MIDA’s three-course menu-for-two paired with a half bottle of wine curated by the pros at Urban Grape. The Full Brunch Experience ticket includes the famous short rib lasagna, zeppole and insalata mista paired with a half bottle of wine — all for $90 (vegetarian option available on request). Or you can pick the General Attendee option to watch the event with no nibbles for $10.

This is the delicious celebratory end to the Community Through Hospitality, a fundraiser in support of the Greater Boston Food Bank, with all ticket proceeds will be donated to the food bank. Peek at the full menu below and book your ticket online today. If you opt for the full meal, all you have to do is pick your order up from MIDA at 11:00am on Sunday, February 28th. If you have friends and family that aren’t in Boston, pass on this event and help support this dynamic (and philanthropic) event.
