Pay homage to the life of David Bowie with music, celebration and libations. Fans of The Thin White Duke can honor him on what would have been his 71st birthday on Monday, January 8th at Harvard Square’s Les Sablons. The party starts at 8:00pm, and a suggested donation of $5 at the door will go to WhyHunger. There’ll be complimentary bites from chef Jeremy Sewall and a cash bar with Bowie-themed cocktails like “Naked Man” and “Moondust”. DJ Evan Kenney (formerly of Dirty Bangs, Thunderbloods, Bodega Girls, and Read Yellow) leads the musical charge for the evening, but if you don’t want to put on your red shoes and dance the blues, there’ll be face painting and a glam photobooth station when inspiration strikes.
