dante’s Sunday Afternoon Ball Brawl

It’s a meatball free-for-all at dante on Sunday, November 9th at the first ever Ball Brawl. Chef-owner Dante de Magistris gets a few friends together on the riverside patio at his Cambridge restaurant for a meatball cook-off starting at 2:00pm. Among the afternoon’s contenders: Tom Berry of Temple Bar, Jamie Bissonnette of Toro, Louis DiBiccari of Sel de la Terre, Mary Dumont of Harvest, Andy Husbands of Tremont 647, Colin Lynch of No. 9 Group, Rodney Murillo of Avila, Marc Orfaly of Pigalle, Jason Santos of Gargoyles, Tony Susi of Sage, Brooke Vosika of The Bristol, William Kovel of Aujourd’hui at Four Seasons and Josh Ziskin of La Morra. For just $20 (payable at the door), you can eat yourself silly – gorging on spicy little nuggets of meaty goodness – though there may be some meat-free varieties as chefs get creative in pursuit of the Best Balls of ‘Em All title.
