The warm weather has finally arrived and with it comes the return of CX Fit at Cambridge Crossing. Now in its fourth season, the summer-long outdoor fitness series, which runs from June ’til October, features an amazing line-up of workouts – kickboxing, trampoline classes, boot camps, cardio, yoga, dance and more – with instructors from all over the city and their partners at Club High-Rise.
Classes are generally scheduled for Wednesdays at 6:00pm on The Common at CX (320 Morgan Ave. in Cambridge) and Saturdays at 10:00pm at the Maria Baldwin Open Space (next door to 222 Jacob St. in Cambridge). Consult the whole schedule and register in advance (registration is required) through the CX Fit website.
After breaking a sweat and working up an appetite, you can just pop right over to one of Will Gilson‘s three Cambridge Crossing spots. If you’re taking a class in the morning, head to Cafe Beatrice to sip an après-workout latte and enjoy one of Executive Pastry Chef Brian Mercury’s sweet treats. Or reward yourself after an evening class, with a well-earned glass of wine on the roofdeck at The Lexington or a heaping plate of pasta at Gepetto.
