If you haven’t attended one of Louis DiBiccari‘s CREATE events yet, you’ve missed out on some truly innovative celebrations of local food and drink. But don’t fret, the recurring pop-up is getting a brick-and-mortar space soon, and for their final fundraising push they’re throwing a cocktail party at Grand Ten Distilling in Dorchester. Scheduled for Thursday, September 27th, the shindig is going to be a mini version of their signature event, so all you newcomers come see what you’ve been missing out on, including live painting, music from DJ J-Wall, tasty tacos and other tasty eats featuring American Lamb, and Grand Ten cocktails on draft. One of CREATE’s main initiatives is making fine art affordable, so they’ll be holding a raffle that includes pieces from artists Brian Gordon and Domingo Martin-Barreres as prizes.
