However you pronounce it, the folks at JP’s Bella Luna just want you to have your fill of the stuff at their al fresco Chowder Fest. On Wednesday, September 17th starting around 7:00pm, they’ll be ladeling out four different types to be washed down with craft beers from six local breweries. There’s no official word yet on what kinds of chowder will be available, but the beverages will be provided by Harpoon, Tap Brewing, Pretty Things, Mayflower, Downeast Cider and Slumbrew. In addition, Charlie “Sharkfin” Larkin will be shucking oysters and clams at the Behan Family Farms raw bar while Boston-based funk band Akashic Record performs live all night long.
