Camp besties, chef William Kovel and Michael Hughes are reunited at Catalyst come Thursday, April 27th. The duo were first introduced last year at Oregon Pinot Camp where, instead of singing songs and making lanyards, they bonded in workshops like Oregon Pinot Noir: Winemaking, and From the Ground Up: Growing Inspired Wines. Now, Kovel welcomes his West Coast wine-making buddy for a dinner showcasing pours from Cooper Mountain Vineyards, where Hughes is on the national sales team. The pair will be putting their heads together to match a four-course menu with some of the vineyard’s best, including the Old Vines Chardonnay harvested from their original vines, which date back to 1978. Dinner starts at 7:00 and costs $85 per person, not including gratuity. Bask in the glory (and the wines) of their friendship. Call 617.576.3000 for a table or reserve your ticket online here.
