On Wednesday, March 2nd, the renowned NY chef will be at Boston University’s Food & Wine program for a Senegalese cooking class that celebrates the native dishes of his home country. From rich stews and ancient grains to fresh seafood and spicy salsas, Thiam will guide guests through the preparation of classic Senegalese recipes that blend multicultural influences with big flavor. Besides his Brooklyn restaurants, Thiam has two cookbooks to his name including the latest, Senegal: Modern Senegalese Recipes from the Source to the Bowl. The class runs from 6:00-8:00pm and tickets are available online here for $50 each.
