Cooking for a Cause 2009

Eat great in support of a great cause – on Thursday, March 19th the East End House, a multi-service community center committed to providing the Greater Boston area with a myriad of social services, once again hosts its annual fundraiser, Cooking for a Cause. This year culinary chair Andy Husbands of Tremont 647 has enlisted the help of an impressive line-up of culinary professionals – Jody Adams of Rialto, Tom Berry of Temple Bar, Jamie Bissonnette of Toro, Dante de Magistris of dante, Will Gilson of Garden at the Cellar, Rachel Klein of Aura, Barry Maiden of Hungry Mother, Tony Maws of Craigie on Main, Jay Murray of Grill 23 & Bar, Paul O’Connell of Chez Henri, Greg Reeves of Green Street, Chris Schlesinger of East Coast Grill and Anthony Susi of Sage. A bevy of master mixologists will also be pouring some libations to create a truly impressive culinary evening. The event, which begins at 6:00pm at the State Room, will be hosted by Billy Costa of KISS 108 and NECN’s TV Diner. They’ve even got live and silent auctions planned.
