The Food Lab Comes to Kirkland

Serious Eats

Tony Maws invites Serious Eats Culinary Director J. Kenji López-Alt to Kirkland Tap & Trotter on Tuesday, October 27th for a fried chicken dinner. The meal is a recipe straight from López-Alt’s new cookbook The Food Lab, a compilation of exhaustively-tested recipes from the James Beard Award-nominated column of the same name. Guests can either make a reservation and try the chicken on their own, or book seats at a communal table and dine with Kenji himself (he’ll be signing cookbooks all night, too). The fun starts at 5:30pm and goes until the chicken runs out. Dinner and a signed copy of Food Lab go for $75—call 857.259.6585 to make reservations.
