Pasta Making Class with Colin Lynch

Lovin Spoonfuls Eventbrite

One of the (few) benefits to the temperatures plummeting is that winter jackets make plenty of room for carbs, and on Thursday, February 1st, Lovin’ Spoonfuls is celebrating by kicking off their chef-led cooking series, Season, with a pasta workshop from Bar Mezzana’s pasta wizard Chef Colin Lynch in Eataly‘s La Scuola kitchen. The event begins at 6:00pm with a discussion of Italian ingredients and approaches to utilizing them, followed by a multiple-dish demo from Chef Colin focused on using entire ingredients.

If you’ve ever taken something directly from your fridge and put it into the garbage, you know how frustrating it can be to waste food. On average, 25 percent of the food purchased by a given household goes to waste, and Lovin’ Spoonfuls wants to help you save on groceries and cut down on food waste in the most delicious way possible. You’ll get expert pasta-making tips from a pro—you can even ask him questions—while you enjoy salumi, cheese, beer, and wine from Eataly. Tickets are $100, and a healthy portion of the proceeds supports Lovin’ Spoonfuls’ Plenty program, arming individuals with the knowledge to feed themselves and their families. Grab your spot at this good-for-the-soul event here.
