There are only a couple summer Sundays left — fall officially begins on Monday, September 23rd — so spend one of the remaining golden days down in Duxbury with the peeps from Island Creek Oysters and UNI‘s James Beard Award-winning chef Tony Messina. On Sunday, September 15th, find your seat at The Raw Bar at Island Creek Oyster Farm for the ocean’s finest fixins’.
Messina will be smoking clams and lobster (your ticket gets you one pound of the bivalves plus a half crustacean for yourself) and there’ll be lots of corn, potatoes and chorizo to finish out your plate. Proceeds are going towards two charities — The Jimmy Fund and the Island Creek Oyster Foundation — so take heart in knowing your seafood consumption is helping a good cause.
