Brighten up your Labor Day staycation and celebrate Cinco De Septiembre at Burro Bar – Brookline, The Painted Burro and Burro Bar – South End. Cinco de Mayo just wasn’t the same this year (kinda like everything else in 2020) so this trio of eateries is hosting a weekend-long do-over. Get in on any of the four days’ worth of festivities — there’ll be $5 tacos, $5 beers and shots, frozen margs, prizes and giveaways. The fiesta (aka socially distanced margarita-drinking and taco-eating) kicks off Friday at 5:00pm and lasts all the way through Monday evening (including brunch where there’ll be $5 brunch tacos and $5 horchatas). So, you can book your table at The Painted Burro Friday night, Burro Bar – South End for Saturday brunch, and Sunday night at Burro Bar – Brookline. Or stick to your closest location and just work your way through the whole menu. Bring your mask, your hand sanitizer and party like it’s Cinco de Mayo 2021.
