Clink

Clio

Spend your night before Christmas at dante where chef Dante de Magistris welcomes guests to partake of some traditional American and Italian dishes handed down to him by his Nonna. Diners will have a choice of dishes in each of the four courses as well as wine specials and seasonal cocktails. Dinner will be served from 4:00-9:00pm and costs $75 per person. Call 617.497.4200 to make your reservation.

Davio’s
Christmas Eve diners at Davio’s are in for a treat – co-executive chefs Eric Swartz and Stephen Brown are putting the finishing touches on their Feast of the Seven Fishes menu. In just four courses, the twosome fit seven forms of seafood – scallops, lobster, cod, crab and calamari, for starters. Reserve a spot to enjoy this Italian tradition. Eastern Standard
The folks at Eastern Standard want you to spend at least some part of your Christmas Eve with them this year so they are making themselves available.  They will be open to serve breakfast and lunch with regular hours in addition to serving dinner until 10pm. Chef Marco Suarez will be serving his regular menu of delicious goodies in addition to some special holiday dishes, wine and cocktail specials. Call 617.532.9100 to make a reservation.

The Fireplace

Grotto
Channel your inner Italian by attending Grotto’s special Christmas Eve four-course meal inspired by the traditional Italian Feast of the Seven Fishes. Chef Scott Herritt will be offering this delicious meal for $65, taking full advantage of the multitude of seafood available in Boston. If seafood is not your thing, Herritt has also culled some signature dishes to create an alternate prix fixe for $60 per person. Both menus are available starting at 5:00pm. La Voile
Go for full French immersion this Christmas Eve. The team at La Voile, led by chef Christophe Santos and sous chef Raphael Lambert will be serving a four-course menu that’ll transport you straight from Newbury Street to the South of France with dishes like house-smoked salmon with blinis and a light dill cream; and scallops in champagne sabayon. Lumière
Do something a little different this Christmas Eve – head to West Newton for dinner at Lumière. Chef-owner Michael Leviton, a Newton native, pays homage to a Jewish Christmas tradition from his childhood, serving a menu inspired by the Chinese takeout that his family ordered every December 24th. The Marliave
On Christmas Eve this year, both the Upstairs and Downstairs dining rooms at the Marliave will be ready for guests. Chef Scott Herritt will be serving the regular menus until 10:00pm as well as offering their special white truffle menu, availability permitting. So whether you want to have a casual but delightful dinner downstairs, or a more formal affair upstairs, the Marliave has a table with your name on it – or, they will…if you call 617.422.0004 for reservations.

Meritage
‘Tis the season to treat yourself to delicious, artfully prepared food, which is precisely what you’ll get if you spend your Christmas Eve at Meritage. Chef Daniel Bruce will be preparing a spectacular five-course prix fixe meal designed to pair perfectly with a selection of delicious wines. Dinner, which will be served from 5:00-10:00pm, is $115 per person (or $145 per person with wine pairings). Searching for some Christmas cheer? Look no further than The Metropolitan Club where, chef Todd Winer will be serving up some scrumptious holiday special for , this Christmas Eve dinner. Winer goes super traditional with specials like standing prime rib roast with Yorkshire pudding and horseradish potato gratin. Pesce Blue
Chef James Walter puts on a full, fish-laden spread this Christmas Eve at Pesce Blue in Portsmouth, where he celebrates the holiday with a traditional Italian Feast of the Seven Fishes Dinner. Book your table between 5:00 and 8:00pm to enjoy four delicious courses for just $55 per person. Walter will also be serving the regular menu if you’re not feeling fishy. Sandrine’s
