Christmas at Boston Restaurants

There’s no place like home for the holidays but anyone who’s had to prepare, serve and clean up after a huge Christmas meal knows the joy that comes from going out for the holiday – in that spirit, some of Boston’s best chefs and restaurants are welcoming you and yours to celebrate the holiday with them this year – see what they have planned at 606 Congress, Beacon Hill Bistro, The Café at the Taj, Cafe Fleuri, Clink, The Fireplace, Meritage, Miel and Sensing.

606 Congress
Have yourself a merry little Christmas at 606 Congress, where chef Greg Griffie is serving a family-style prix fixe menu on the holiday. Book a table at this waterfront favorite so you and yours can choose among appetizers like the lentil, chorizo and kale soup or the fried oyster platter, followed by entrees like pan-roasted lamb loin or herb-roasted halibut. Everyone shares sides (that’s the family-style part) so you’d better go in with a game plan to make sure you get the ones you want. Dessert options include eggnog cheesecake and a holiday cookie plate. Dinner costs $55 per person. Call 606 at 617.476.5606 for reservations and additional information.
