To China and Back Again at Tremont 647

Working weekends, standing in front of a hot stove for hours on end and multiple opportunities for on-the-job injuries – sometimes being a chef is hard. But then there are times when it’s so worth it – Andy Husbands of Tremont 647, Jasper White of Summer Shack, Jose Duarte of Taranta, Mark Porcaro of Top of the Hub and Dave DuBois and Brian Reyelt of the Franklin Café and Citizen are just a few notable Boston chefs who got to travel through China, exploring their culture and cuisine earlier this month. Of course, being the selfless folks that they are, these lucky cooks are paying their good fortune forward, hosting a dinner at Husband’s home base on Thursday, November 10th so that you can try the fruits of their travels.
