Boston chefs are raising their hemlines and heating up the grills for the 19th annual Chefs in Shorts. The outdoor barbeque takes up residence at the Seaport World Trade Center on Friday, June 24th for an evening of summer tastes from the city’s culinary talent. Chefs Robert Tobin, Brian Dandro, Chris Douglass, Jonathan Kilroy, Mark Sapienza, Nicholas Calias, Jason Heard, Rodney Murillo, Shaun Velez, Shayne Nunes, Matt Drummond, Andres Cruz, Rachel Klein, Alex Pineda, Brian Poe, Emmett Ledbetter, Stefan Jarausch, Cory Seeker, Joe Florio and more will be manning their grill stations for the chance at winning the honor of best dish. The barbecue runs 7:00-10:00pm and comes complete with beer and wine tastings to wash it all down. Tickets are $80 each, available online here, and proceeds benefit Future Chefs, a nonprofit dedicated to preparing urban youth for culinary careers.
