The suburban-style barbecue comes to the city with the return of Chefs in Shorts on Friday, June 19th. Over forty local chefs will be showing a little skin in summer-appropriate bottoms for the 18th annual tasting event at The Seaport Hotel. Guests can get their grill fill from host restaurant Tamo as well as headliners like ArtBar, Bambara, The Biltmore, Bond, Brasserie Jo, Café ArtScience, Davio’s, Local 149, Lucca, M.C. Spiedo, Mirbeau Inn & Spa, Poe’s Kitchen, Precinct, Tavolo, Temazcal, The Salty Pig, The Sinclair, The Tip Tap Room, Top of the Hub and more. Tickets cost $80 each and include access to beer, wine and all the barbecued foods one could want. The 21+ bash runs from 7:00-9:30pm and helps benefit Future Chefs, a local non-profit that prepares urban youth for culinary careers. Get your tickets online here for the knee-baring grill-off.
